Felicitation for Professor Swarna Wimalasiri and Dr. Shyama Bannehek

Admiring the precious service of Professor Swarna Wimalasiri, Former Acting Head of Department of Nursing and Dr. Shyama Banneheka, Former Acting Head of Department of Physiotherapy of Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, a felicitation program was held on 14th February 2017 at the board room of Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. The event was highlighted with the participation of the Dean Professor Mahinda Wickramarathne, Heads of the Departments, academic and non-academic staff members of the department of Nursing and Faculty of Allied Health Sciences. To symbolize the great leadership during their tenure as Acting Heads, Professor Swarna Wimalasiri and Dr. Shyama Banneheka were presented with souvenirs by the Dean of Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.
All the participants at the occasion, conveyed gratitude and extended well wishes to their out-going Acting Heads, undoubtedly dynamic and courageous personnel who worked hard to gain many achievements to the Department of Nursing and Department of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Peradeniya.
